Ace - loved what you did in Lullaby. Amazed no one ( so far as I have seen) has picked up that you are using the Mattie Ross character from True Grit - and are using the Spencer/Susan format to explore what made her the way she is - and what might become of her. Obviously that is what the Coens were trying to address in the last shot of their movie. I think its great!Writing is terrific - you've got the characters dead right. Looking forward to reading many more.
