Lullaby Tour Rolls on

A nice reminder of a former life in Minneapolis.
Books, books, books.

Gary and Pat at Once Upon a Crime in Minneapolis. They presented me with a terrific edition of "Looking for Rachel Wallace!"
Richard Katz -- new pal and owner of Mystery One -- with me at the Harley museum in Milwaukee.

Outside one of the best bookstores in the U.S.

t
The infamous Richard Katz. Yep, he's related to the NYC deli people.

Enjoyed meeting a terrific Spenser crowd in Milwaukee.

A Milwaukee health platter, I'm told.

Comments:
I just finished Lullaby and loved it for the most part. Spenser and Hawk, however, do not ring true. Spenser would never have allowed anyone to get his gun and Hawk would not have been taken down by an ambush. They also would have anticipated that Flynn would go after Mattie and would have had Vinnie or someone else protecting her. Other than these few things, the book was a good first stab at Parker's Spenser.
