Tuesday, February 21, 2012Spenser SoundtrackI've been listening to a lot of Carmen McRae lately after a high recommendation by Spenser and Hawk in "Potshot." McRae recorded with some my favorites: Dave Brubeck, Louis Armstrong, and Count Basie to only name a few. Pour yourself a tall Scotch over ice, kick off your shoes, and listen to one of her memorable performances of "Round Midnight."

Thanks for taking on this project. I have to say it must be a hard decision to step into the shoes and mind of Parker and Spenser. Have read some reviews of first novel, you seem to be right on track. Being a bourbon man, maybe Spenser could expand from Scotch to a nice Basel-Hayden or Woodroff- Researve.
